Into the Deep

The old Imperator is dead! And the new Imperator is out for blood. The only thing that stands between him and conquering the entire ocean is an ex-Imperial agent and a pair of down on their luck scoundrels. 

Into the Deep is a 100+ page action-adventure, sci-fi graphic novel following Imperial Wayfinder Kor as she fights back against the empire that created her.

The Story

Across the ocean, people live in submerged habitats separated by huge expanses of unknown waters. Imperial Wayfinders are some of the few that can navigate these distances without using registered shipping lanes. They manage this through their use of The Current, a mysterious force that pushes, pulls, and flows throughout the entire ocean. 

Into the Deep follows Kor, an Imperial Wayfinder who uses The Current to receive visions of distant parts of the ocean, create weapons out of the water around her, and pilot her powerful Gravus Suit.

Kor was sent by the Irulian Imperium as a diplomat to peacefully integrate the Asani Habitat into the Imperium. But when the old Imperator is killed and deposed by a bloodthirsty new inheritor to the throne, plans change. The Imperial navy has now been dispatched to destroy that habitat and Kor along with it. With only the help of two down-on-their-luck scoundrels, a fast-talking charmer named Sai and a large Cepholopodian named Squid, Kor has to fight to save as many people as she can before the Imperium that she’s devoted her life to drowns the lot of them.
